charlie just came in from outside to bring his dinner dishes in from outside (YES! it is finally warm enough to dine outdoors!!) and on his way back out, he says "thankyou mommy that was some yummy stuff!" (steelhead, noodles & hominy that he picked out at the groc!) oh..he just melted me!!! he's never done that!! awww....even right after the ice cream truck went singing by! & i said "no"!..awww!!

had a mother's day gathering/performance at school today. the rest of the kids sang & danced..charlie, of course, just stood there, watching! i'll post a pic/vid later!

chazman has been a hoot lately.

last night, we had to change the sheets on the bed. (the big one) which consists of a sheet, a blanket, & two comforters. he's helping me make it & he sees the 2nd comforter which is bright & colorful!) he exlaims..."ooh! the colored blanket! i haven't seen the colored one in years!!"

also last night, i said outloud i "wish someone would help me pick up" (toys & such). charlie runs out & superman comes back to help!

yesterday uncle luke came down to suprise grandma mary & pick up his trailor...had a bit of car trouble, so we hung out with luke on the side of the highway (a good pull off spot don't worry) outside washougal for a few hours. .charlie was paying close attention. so all last night & today, he keeps having to FIX all his cars/tractor/helicopter....the engines are all dying & he goes to the part store for a piece to fix it. then i have to listen to it "start" again....

wierd ..this still won't post. i'll try it from my phone again. that's how the last few have been posted. the boys are sleeping. izzy will be up any minute. & i let charlie fall asleep on the couch watching cars. i really just needed a second to regroup. not sure from what. just a moment i guess. have some baby back pork ribs in the oven, found a great recipe on delicioushouseblogspot.com. first time i've been to her site, real similar to ..oh..what is her name...the one with the marlboro man in OK?...crap, you know who i mean. anyhow. it still is raining. a lot. we planted a few things in the garden last week, but they may have floated away by now. will check next month when it quits raining!

charlie's finger is getting better, will get you a pic soon. we got brian a new weber for his bday. (thank you grandma & grandpa barge for splitting it with us!) man..it is just pouring.

got to visit with our friend jackson. big z had a ball with him. he kept getting in his face & charlie read books to him...it was very sweet!
