Happy Opening Day!
Well the Mariners start their World Series run today. Daddy, for the first time in a while, is not at opening day. That's o.k. though because he said he would have to take out a second mortgage to buy beer at the stadium. We are going to try to go to a game or two this season and see Ichiro play. Daddy said that when I play in the big leagues, he will be my agent. He said it will be simple-Mommy and Daddy will take my signing bonus plus 10% of my salary, and I can have the rest. He said by that time $10 million won't be that much money. I don't know, I think I might try to find my own representation. My Great Grandpa Edwards is a Texas Rangers fan, which is too bad because they are playing the M's today. Oh well, the Rangers are going to have to wait for a win until after they leave Seattle. Well it's almost grand salami time (M's fans know what I'm talking about), so I will leave you. Have a great day!

well i'm back at home safe & sound. and guess what!? it is snowing here too!! funny weather!. just a short note to say thank you to grandma & grandpa barge & all the family for visiting with me! we had so much fun! thank you for everything! i love you all & see you soon :)

Happy Easter!

I am writing to you from my offices in Spokane, Washington. Mommy, daddy, and I flew over here on Saturday to spend Easter with Grandma and Grandpa Barge. Uncle Eric, Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Ryan, and Cousins Jack and Annabelle were here too. It is fun exchanging new ways to open stuff, crawl under stuff, climb on top of stuff, and put stuff in ours mouths. Jack and I are now both officially mobile by foot which only helps to further our destructive capabilities. Mommy and I get to stay until Wednesday, but daddy had to go home on Sunday to go back to work after a week of vacation. He said that he was looking forward to getting back to work, and that he would explain sarcasm to me when I get home. The highlight of our stay was getting to meet my great Uncle Kevin. He is Grandma's younger brother, and came back to visit from South Africa where he lives. He gets paid to build golf courses for a professional golfer named Ernie Els. Daddy said he would do that job for a sandwich. It was really cool getting to meet him. I am beginning to detect a pattern in our daily activities when we visit Grandma and Grandpa. Everything we do seems to be contingent on food - the preparation and/or ordering of, and eating of. It's great! Also, we got to watch our WSU Cougars beat Notre Dame in the NCAA basketball tournament. Yes, even God is a Coug. Well, I get two more days of Grandma spoiling me, and then I go home so that Grandma Edwards can spoil me. I'm like a miniature mobster, all I have to do is smile and they give me stuff. happy spring to you & happy ten months to me!! (yesterday).. my "at home measurements" are as follows...i am about 30 inches high!! & i am about 27 pounds big!!....(remember these are unofficial!!)

daddy says to remember to mention this is my very first ever NCAA tournement!!..GO COUGS!!!!! i am looking forward to several decades of march madness!!...i LOVE having daddy home! it is WONDERFUL!!!

i'm still a bit snotty nosed, so i am missing all my buddies at baby class today :(

ps, don't let the picture fool you...we caught the sun while it was out for just a few moments yesterday ;) we're in for about a month of rain i think...also-for you in oklahoma & texas, i hope you are all okay! the news makes us a bit nervous for you sometimes when the show such dramatic pictures!! we'll keep you in our prayers!!
