spatula in the toilet. a rock in the blender(while making smoothies!) funny things everywhere! spiderman in my lunch bag. a piece of the vaccum cleaner in the litter box. currently, i'm missing the coolwhip container full of coffee filters. this has been mia for a few days. i'm worried it is a casualty to the garbage can. izzy likes to deposit random things into the trash! oh yes, & while i missed it, brian told me a story about how the boys had piles of salt (from a large bucket of epsom salt in the bathroom) in charlie's room. they were driving trucks/tractors through it! & when he finished cleaning that up, he came downstairs to find isaiah on the kitchen floor (half unsucessfully) pouring himself some soy milk!

i took the side of the crib off yesterday. big z figured out how to climb the side of it & flip over into the crib. i don't want to take chances on him flipping out of it & experiencing our first ER trip over that!..so, i took the side off, now it is a "toddler bed" SO...this also means he takes full advantage of not being trapped..i put the gate at his door. now he just falls asleep crying at the gate. breaks my heart, but we were up all night last night since he wouldn't let me put him down!...

charlie was diagnosed saturday at urgent care with double ear infections & pink eye. although by sat afternoon, we had double pink eye too. both are new to us, so that was exciting. was a horrible doctor's trip. he didn't want the lady to touch him, much less even be there. he was screaming & kicking & oh...so sad. we got antibiotics. which we're doing but i'm skeptical of course. i've seen & heard they don't quicken the healing process. plus they're hard on the digestive system! eew. keep the towels & wipes handy!

i better go, he's still screaming from the gate. :( aww... thank you gigi for the box today. charlie's already picked out the cinnamon & spice oatmeal for tomorrow's breakfast.
