look out world....

little man is asleep, as i should be, but i want to give you a bit of an update! first a little explanation for the horse pics. the first one i love because bugs's toungue is hanging out! chazman was feeding him some carrots-and LOVING it!! the second one, charlie was leaning over to give bugs a hug. & the third, because we are clear & everything else is kind of a blur..how cool is that!! he really has a good time out at grandpa's place! he loves hanging out with the puppies too, will get a pic of them next time! (..maybe i can find one now?) he loves to give hugs & treats to meiko & alaska (the pups)~

so the horse ride went pretty smooth! chazman got just a bit antsy after a little bit, but he enjoyed it for the most part!!...

thanks grandpa for living in that space! it is so beautiful & amazing there. and quiet!! (um..okay, by quiet i mean no sirens, squealing, or any other continual traffic noise!) it is so special to me to be able to bring charlie there. the fresh air, the old growth trees, the river, dirt roads, the horse & dogs ;) i hope he someday truly appreciates nature..what's left of it anyways ;)

anyways, this child of ours...has discovered his ability to be very persistent when he doesn't want to do something...i am amazed. daily! he can practically shapeshift to jello when he doesn't want to go somewhere! and the cries? oh my goodness gracious...WOW. and he bites me! i've tried several approaches to get him to stop. wierd. so we're working on that! & he's hitting our kitties too, mostly out of excitement, but not always. and he'll wait until i turn around to do it!! sneaky sucker! we're also working potty training. so he's (him. not us!) decided he doesn't want to anymore. it has been more than a month i think now since i've gotten him to pee in the potty chair. he'll go in the little urnal thing if i hold it under him in the shower/tub! but that's all i get!! so that is another "to be continued"...

i'm still really ready after so much current frustration for the next little one. maybe for christmas i can get charlie to wear one of those "i'm gonna be a big bro" shirts" to wear for daddy. of course, i better make sure santa brings daddy some new underwear too then ;)
