ah hem. it will be a miracle if any veggies come up this year. the seeds are from 2001 & 2005. (don't ask! i just found them!) so, we have that going for us! then,
brian brought a starter for a zucchini home, the slugs devoured it! and, mister charlie here keeps digging up what was planted. and he planted a handful (almost literally) of various seeds in one spot. (a packet of lettuce, a packet of cilantro, and another bunch of seeds i didn't find the packet to?!) and, you can see action laying on the corn rows....and yesterday i caught flo rolling in the dirt there too...i kept a space for chazman to play in-between the bricks there where scoop the tractor is-do you see it? charlie apparently doesn't...ahh well, i doubt we'll have a bumper crop of any sort in this yard this year!!...hahaha...

we had two beautiful days of summer this week! but it is raining now again!
this is the quilt the boys' great aunt terri made! she called the other day to let me listen to the thunderstorms & tornado sirens! thanks terri! it made me smile !! i wish i could return the blessing, but i don't think you'd care to hear the drizzle! it hardly makes a "pitter patter" sound!! lol!
