big Z had his two month check up (& stupid vaccinations) today. he is a healthy 14lbs 10oz today & measured at 24 1/2 inches long :) ooh, didn't get the head measurement, but that was in the 75th percentile...the weight & height still above the 95th percentile..what a shocker eh? he's been asleep since we got home, about two hours ago!...charlie is playing with his little people, and thomas book, and the computer mouse, and cCRAP! my phone!!
i can hardly keep my eyes open today! we still don't know about brian's work. i've been looking to go back to school, online. but i'm much more interested in biology than anything else, and i haven't found an undergrad program for biology online. i still kick myself for not coming out of pullman with a damn degree of somesort. lame. i know...
i love love love massage. but i wonder if i can find something with benifits. ack...i think i may go hunt down a caffinated beverage!!
OH! and ps...just so you know, charlie is perfecting his talent of a con-artist. we're challenged with the potty training business. (maybe because i don't enforce it enough but anyhow). we're attempting to take things away now for wet diapers instead of prizes for going in the toilet. because he will go in his diaper, then go a TEENY TINY bit in the toilet, and excliam that he went in the toilet so he gets a prize...grrr...
so, yesterday, when i asked which train engine we'll take away, he calmly replied "Mmmm....Thomas! so after i removed thomas from the scene. he tells me he has another thomas!! cuz he has TWO of them..little turd...

stopped in leavenworth to have lunch at gustav's (charlie had a pizza off the kid's menu..it was a tony's frozen pizza!!! way to make a buck!)

took this one for oma & opa matchey! who, by the way, grandpa has been in the nursing home for a while now, but grandma is just being admitted this week..she took a fall. now they don't know if the fractured spine was from this week's fall, or a past injury...good heavens, please send love their way :) thanks.

i guess i need to be more diligent in my laundry chores...even my new clothes (thank you gg) managed to spot. one in particular, is a dark onesie with a sports theme..and, i managed to spot (yellow or greenish) on a beautiful hand made blanket from when charlie was a baby...and isaiah's white onsies...well, they're an odd color now too...
not like the WHITE white that covered the storage room floor this afternoon! that's right, baking soda...thank you chazman!! i should say, it wasn't completely white, it was spotted with dry kitty food!
while i was telling you about this, i was interupted to stop charlie from pouring grape juice into his palm. guess we'll switch back to white grape juice, eh?!
well, we've gone through five, maybe six pairs of underpants & pants today...potty training. he thinks we're "out" of diapers for him, so he can't wear them anymore. ...today, he's just excited to wear all the CARS characters...he did poop in the toilet though, thank goodness. he'd say "i pottied in ramone"...or in "mater!" or whatever, and "now i go get lightneeen"
please excuse me again..he's closed the door and he's in the storage room again...

these boys are growing so fast. time is just flying by. can you believe we change the clocks forward again this weekend. ahhh...
i feel so blessed to have shared the week with grandma & grandpa (gg & p paw) how often do you get to spend time with your great grandparents?! this is the grandpa that isaiah leo is named after by the way! i cherish every second with them and am so thankful for them.
we're awaiting a legislative decision today about whether brian's prison will be closed or not. he's interviewing next week in the tri cities. ahh limbo. they have till midnight tonight to finish a 60 day session. if not, they go in overtime for $18K a day...geezo..as long as they're not decided, brian has a job with benifits!
in the mean time, i am loving my boys & thankful it is me & not a babysitter/daycare they go to every day. not many mom's get to spend this time with their babies. (snotty noses & all....yes, we're snotty again!!)..
enough babbling, chazman is suggesting he wants some "hote" chocolate...you should hear his accent. he sounds like some british? european? it is sooo funny, when he askes for hot "whattor", or" rhahazbaery" tea~~
we're making a green tea granola this morning too...should be fun...

we had the most wonderful visit with p paw & gg. they came to visit us for (almost) a whole week!!

grandpa barge took us on a tour of the palouse to the top of steptoe butte, you can see 200miles on a crystal clear day from here!! it was awesome!!!

there was a pool to play in at the hotel...charlie had a ball with his grandma there too!! we also went to the hotel most mornings for their breakfast!! thanks comfort inn!~
