Isaiah is in speech weekly still. We work on our g's and k's. Would you believe he becomes mute at speech class? As much as he talks ...we walk in to speech...and he is soooooo Quiet!!

charlie is ninja practicing, or training,,, he is using a bungee cord to grab a hold of the top rail of our bed, then pulling himself up.
he also just told me he wants to play flag football. "wait, does it include throwing?" he asked, "because i'm awesome."
he also made a funny last night when i said i had long johns on under my pants. he laughed pretty hard and says "what? you're wearing donuts under your pants!"

that's his buddy ryder on the right. they played t ball together last summer and ryder is in mrs konzek's kindergarten class, who charlie and isaiah both love. every time we see her in the hall ways at school, they both get huge grins on their faces! maybe isaiah will get her!!!

snowmaggedon?!

so our meteorologists have called this three snow storms in a row. (i can hear you laughing minnesota!). we measured almost eight inches. the town shut down, well, since thursday, it is now sunday night! so i got lots of extra study and play time in! charlie got out of school at 1230 on thursday and hasn't been back since. they canceled school for tomorrow too. guess our roads are pretty sloppy! both of the snow plows in town have been busy. :) in fact, we saw a bobcat in the Safeway parking lot either charging up a truck, or the truck was charging it up...the bobcat was clearing the parking lot. (in between jumps i guess).
we also saw a front-loader driving down our road!
my honey was so nice to go build a snow man this afternoon so i could study and take my test that is due by midnight (100% thank you very much.)(hey, i can't brag very often!). he and isaiah made a great snow man, carrot nose and golf clubs for arms!!  picture coming. charlie laid next to me with a headache. this is day two where he is down for hours. three? more? with a horrible headache. this of course freaks me out. could be nothing. unlikely it is dehydration, he drinks a lot of water, on his own! i can't not worry about tumors either though. (i know..i can hear you mom "don't even think that way!").
was a really dry snow until about 730 last night. then it turned to freezing rain. so today's commuters were messy for sure. but made for great sledding and penguin racing down our driveway. (of course i got pictures..coming soon! i just cant connect to my phone pictures at the moment.)

well. i don't know how this happened. there are about a half dozen pictures that do this annimation. lucky me?

snowmageddon!

the city shut down today. it is snowing and windy! blizzard warnings on the west side of the gorge up to the edge at dad's house! school got out three hours early, and businesses closed everywhere. grandpa mike and dad both went home early! here's a few shots.
