happy memorial day! we send thoughts & prayers to all the families who've lost loved ones through our military. we celebrated family this weekend at grandma & grandpa barge's house. grandma barge put on quite the party for charlie & uncle scott's birthdays. (yes, another birthday celebration for charlie!)

we had doctor appointments today. scheduled check ups..three years for charlie & two shots, 4 months for isaiah. , charlie is 40lbs & 41? (maybe it was 42)inches. iz is 18.5lbs & 28.5 inches. (although i think she may have stretched that number...looked closer to 27 to me...but i'm just the mom!) after poking & proding, & asking me if charlie has been to the dentist, and suggesting that he take flouride tablets, she sent him away with four suckers. isn't that a bit excessive?
things are well. the moving company is expected any minute here to get an estimate on our belongings. (isn't that nice of the state to pay for our move this time?!)(grrr..) and we're also expecting a phone call today from a guy to tell us we can move into our new place (and which one) next week. please shine your sweet light upon us housing gods!

ah, and it was in the middle of this parade that isaiah reached out & touched my face for the first time!! (silly sentimental girl, i know! but i'd like to think it was special & not just because it was crazy overstimulating!)
