ps, would you believe it? all our snow is gone!! how bizarr0oh!! it was just splendid that we had (in fact i think every inch of washington was covered!) a
-several inches worth of - a white christmas! (& even some leftover for a white birthday for mama!-she was super excited!!) because as you know, we don't get much for snow in these parts!!! love you very much! thank you all for your generosity & smiley faces this past year! & happy new year to you all!!

what an amazing winter solstice!! we & most of you it sounds like from wisconsin to oklahoma to washington are experiencing impressive winter weather!! hope you are all staying safe & warm. daddy is safely at work, but please pray for his travels home tonight. (grandma mary too!)

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! a big branch (loaded w/ ice!) just fell ontop our roof!! Scared the stability right out of my fingers!! & i was just thinking about going out to take a few pics while my precious is napping...a crack & then it slid right off the icey roof!! flo & i both halled but out the bedroom cuz we knew it was right over our head...
anyways, with my saddest face i tell you our camera is officially broken, i can take pics, but i can't get them to you via computer...the disabled cord has retired to it's resting area in the trash..rest in peace little cord, you have had a very tough & busy life!!
and ladies, don't worry about any more branches okay? there isn't any close enough that are going to damage our house..so don't worry!!

just a quick note for you all: STAY WARM!!!

it's quite chilly here, but even colder for the rest of you it sounds like!! 15degrees in OK City? -3 tomorrow morning in spokane!! brr!!
we're doing just fine, mommy is loving the wind, it has been blowing like crazy here for a couple days now...this must be the "east winds" we've heard about for the last ten years ;) as you know, this city shuts down at the threat of snow, schools are closed all week already!! today was georgeous, but our forcast says a wicked storm (two in fact) are soon to arrive!! (mommy is pretty excited!! you should see her, she keeps smiling real big & watching outside!..i'm not sure what i'm watching for, but the trees and random items are blowing around out there!!) in fact, when i went to grandma's this morning, she was talking to her neighbor, because it looked like she had an addition put on to her roof! it was an extra covering for her roof! i thought it might have been another way of insulating her house, but it was her neighbors canopy/covering type thing that had blown into the electrical wires & got tangled up & stuck on grandma mary's roof! took them about two hours to get it down!
and yesterday, grandpa mike had a little incident w/ his car. it couldn't get up the hill, slid into a ditch, & while grandpa was out talking to another guy, his car slid even more & i'm not sure of the details, but grandpa fell, knocking his hat & glasses off & bruising (if not busting) a couple ribs! ouchie grandpa! we saw him last night because he had a late flight out at the airport, but we sent him w/ a pain killer type goodie bag! ugh. wish we could fix you up grandpa!
daddy and grandma are working today, (daddy got stuck on his way up to work today :( so we're investing in a set of chains tonight!) and since they drive home way after dark we're already worried about the next couple days, tomorrow should be okay, but wednesday sounds very sketchy..
better go for now, now mommy is just procrastinating (aka: babbling) ;) xoxo

18 months in this picture folks!! can you believe it?~!?!

i was a busy little boy yesterday! i got to go to the children's museum & the zoo!! twice even!! we met up w/ some friends alex & seth (he's almost one year), & veronica & avari (she's about six weeks!) at the museum!
here i am crawling into a trough of water at the museum...

some more food please ma'am? on second thought, can i just come back there myself?

i'll be wearing rubber boots next time! (grandpa, we need them from your house!!)

we also drove thru the race track! they do a whole show also, you get to drive thru almost two miles of the track!! i was just thrilled as you can imagine!

i've been so good lately mom & grandma edwards took me to see zoo lights last night! we saw soooo many lights! it was very awesome! but mom isn't a very good photographer when it comes to night shows!! my favorite part was the train!! i LOVED the train ride!! it was about fifteen minutes of total heaven for me!! and guess what GG, i wore my scarf all night!! mommy was very proud!

the tiger was next to me, but mom's a dork & didn't have the flash on the first picture!! there were all kinds of critters running around!

i love to play hide & seek, but i ususally have to point mommy and grandma mary in the direction to look for me when i'm hiding!

being stuck inside! (i love to explore outdoors!)

nice picture of daddy don't ya think!? guess what? our house smells so good now! do you know why? cuz we have a christmas tree!! yay!!! i was thrilled to see the tree go up, & i'm very careful around it! (you can see daddy's favorite lamp in this picture too! it is the lamp from the christmas story!) mommy also got the outside lights up today, & just realized she forgot to do the chimney...oh my...maybe tomorrow?
