charlie tells me fairly frequently that he hates school. he says it takes up too much time from home. (of course, i guess i shouldn't be flattered. i think there is a direct link to lego-time. not necessarily family and home time! a mommy could dream!)
also, when i got home tonight. isaiah fell apart. he was hugging me so tight and was sobbing so much that he could hardly talk. apparently (i eventually got the story) charlie told him i wasn't coming home tonight. i was holding back tears myself of the passion behind this one!
he was also an emotional wreck too i think from the busy weekend with grandma and grandpa barge here, in addition to the drama of the poopy pants we've been experiencing. isaiah has been having a lot of accidents since christmas. (when we were separated for a week!) and daddy is over it. isaiah was in a diaper when i came home tonight. and they weren't really speaking to each other!
oh, but they had so much fun! they went to astoria, in the rain! (2.06 inches fell there yesterday!!) while there, they went to the maritime museum, saw a 3-D shark movie. the great white is charlie's favorite now. they got to board the light ship columbia (big ship) and hit up a couple breweries. they climbed 260 stairs to throw a paper airplane. i'll post picture later, assuming they took some! they also had a "daylight savings brunch" with the strattons. and daddy took them to some lego show.
