happy lunar new year!!! Basketball has started. I'm hoping for the boys to really enjoy it. In the past it seems it has been a favorite of Charlie's, but he's lacking the confidence -gee, where do you think this comes from :(- and hasn't been his awesome self so far this year. A lot of it may have to do with his x-box and tablet time. ..i don't know. I don't know how to instill confidence in my children when I don't have but an ounce myself. Any words of wisdom are welcome!!!
Isaiah's birthday has come and gone. we did the Embassy Suites night a week or so ago, so that is always great! He was able to make birthday cupcakes for his classmates. He requested both chocolate and vanilla (to please all taste buds) and chose heart sprinkles.
Came home from the hospital last night in time to get the boys off the bus, Brian came home early to take them to a basketball game (local high school) and I was able to have a quiet house to get a good start on my weekend homework. I had already made my pot of coffee for the evening, thenI think I was probably asleep within 10 minutes of them leaving, and didn't move until they came bursting through the door hours later!! 😊
In other news, about one of Mom's brothers, Greg. his 32 year old boy passed away yesterday. I don't know anything else other than it was in his home in LaCrosse. Love you you uncle Greg.
