happy birthday to me ! today i celebrate my one month birthday!! mommy says i'm on track to be less clean than my older brother since she was commenting on my dirty fingernails at three weeks!! i suggested to her it is in her hands, since she's the one bathing me, right?!! maybe if she'd stop kissing me all over i'd stay sparkling after my baths in grandma barge's bathroom sink! it is perfect for bathing!..hmm..i'll get you a picture next round...

~today, to celebrate my survival of my first month of life on this rock, we went to the dmv. thankfully, i slept the whole time. charlie was quite trying though on mommy's patience. she was very glad to come home after almost two hours!! we were getting her enhanced drivers' license. it took extra long due to the paperwork from being born abroad. and apparently, mommy was born so long ago that they don't see that kind of paper work anymore. they suggested to her that her papers weren't appropriate. even though she's gotten this far in life with them!! it was somewhat of a reality age check on mommy's head. she may indulge in a glass or two of wine tonight to ease the pain! lol..

i've been watching my first olympics. wow, those athletes are incredible!! mommy was wanting to go to vancouver, being so close & all, but naturally let the thoughts pass. then we talked to auntie steph, who said it was really amazing!! so we're going to try to go for the para-olympics, in a couple weeks. hopefully we can make it happen!! (mommy's kicking herself in the pants for not manifesting it sooner, as now it will depend on if we can get our enhanced license cards by then, they take two to six weeks to arrive....tick tock tick tock..)

isaiah's first trip to the children's museum! he was thrilled ;) we went with the horsfalls this weekend, they came for just a few days! we had so much fun!! can you believe uncle eric got me to wear the cookie monster suit?!?!

gg, here's my cranky the crane ladder! so whenever i use the potty, i am awarded with a sticker to put on my ladder, when i get to the top, i get to add cranky the crane to my train set!! how fun! except we've had a bit of a relapse on the consistancy of my toilet use!! mommy & daddy had to get more diapers :( the last box was supposed to be the end of them for me!! hopefully, we'll get back on track in the next week or so! at least mommy hopes so! otherwise, we'll be looking at this ladder for a while!!!

ps, thank you aunt nancy for the idea. she used something similar on one of her boys!..stars to reach a particular desired item i believe!

daddy's back at work today :( we were sad to let him go, but we're very glad he has a job!! we're so blessed he was able to take two whole weeks to stay with isaiah & us :)

hearts day this weekend!

making cookies to decorate when my cousins come tomorrow! sorry guys, we burnt a few! with enough frosting, who will complain right?? they'll still get us all wound (sp?) up! can't wait to see you guys!!

we had no more puking yesterday! yipeee!! isaiah & i stayed upstairs, daddy & charlie downstairs! the boys got a valentine card from gg & p-paw yesterday, thank you! we also got a mysterious box from auntie beth! in it was two cute cute outfits, but also an old toy of mine! the texas instruments' touch & tell!! holy old school!! was fun to play with! charlie was having a ball figuring it out! thank you auntie! i'll get a pic of it in the next few days. not sure if you'll remember it or not, was not a real common item! but i played with it quite a bit i guess since i remember it real well!!
charlie seems to be doing fine. he had tylenol a few times yesterday to keep his temp down. what is this? we must have been completely spoiled the first two years of his life, he was hardly sickly at all! just a few bouts with cold/flu...now, seems we're constantly in battle. we're not even in day care or anything. the stores & church really are the only places we consistantly go. maybe he picked it up from the farm & agg show last week. who knows. just frustrating!!
daddy only has two days at home left. my, that two weeks flew by faster than fast ("ka-chow!!")
was sure nice having him around.

oh, isaiah had his circumcission yesterday...mommy hates dealing with that, but he's fine. just real disturbing diaper changes for a while!! and the doc wanted him up to birth wieght by two weeks (today!) and yesterday he was ten something. 10-6maybe? so the doctor was quite pleased.
okay, better go, i'm just procrastinating because i'm stuck on turbo tax!!! love you....

last minute little prayer request...our angels are working overtime this week!! isaiah is going in (in a few minutes ) for his little boy procedure...(do we? don't we? i struggled with charlie, but since we did charlie, we best do both right?!) anyways, and now...dangit..charlie had a rough night, & is now in bed w daddy with a crazy fever, & i'm pretty sure they'll be more puking today. last night i awoke (yes, i was sleeping!!) to him choking on his own vomit..(SCARY!!!!) and now, he's burning up...i'm not waking him up to give him tylenol, brian can give it to him when they wake up...ack!! have to run...they're being quarantined to the basement today, isaiah & i will stay upstairs...really don't want the two week old to get the dang flu....CRAP~~~

goodness gracious, it is just blissful having two little guys around here!!! i was attempting here to do the cradle justice...this cradle, also used by charlie, was made by brian's paternal grandpa, pete. it is truly amazing!!...thank you grandpa pete~

umm..okay, now there was an earthquake near amarillo, auntie lynn, did you feel that one? what in the world is going on!? gg & p paw have to keep straightening pictures & things on their walls from the half dozen earthquakes they've had in oklahoma city!! can you believe it?!
plus, they've had snow & ice lots already this winter, we've hardly had two hear! where last year here it was insane!!!
anyways, mister isaiah counts as the twenty first great grandchild for oma & opa, mommy's maternal grandparents! oma counted the other day & came up with 21 GREAT grandbabies!!! ...WOAH!!! talk about a family of numbers eh?!
eew..salty fast food is beginning to settle in...gross...but it goes down so yummy!!

holy cow, did i hit the jackpot today! daddy & mommy took us to a farm & aggriculture show!!! i had a blast driving each tractor/machine!!! it was so cool!! there were even a few trucks there!...it was a trade show, so mommy & isaiah cruised the booths while daddy took me to see all the tractors! you know what was weird though, in mommy's browsing...in the middle of it all were sheet sets! yup, for your bed! 30$ for 1000 count california king sheets! no kidding! she wanted to buy everyone she knew a set, but didn't of course! what a deal thought right?! we stopped at zips on the way home, a local burger joint to get a fish sandwich & some fries & fry sauce, which i've discovered i enjoy :) i also love lemonade. i often ask for it these days.
mommy is thinking about moving back downstairs today. but only thinking about it. not really moving forward with the idea!
i'm getting used to my baby isaiah. i pat him on the head quite a bit & say "this is baby isaiah." but that's about it. i do help with the diaper changes often though. getting the diaper of choice (pampers has diff sesame street characters on them!) thank you auntie lynn for those! happy birthday to you the other day too!! (the 2nd) (guess i should get back on track with my birthdays huh!? sorry if we've missed yours in the last few months!
