so here's a taste of what we'll be viewing next week...isn't it just BEAUTIFUL!!!???

today was a fun day! mommy never feeds me so i had to eat dirt (again..)

(she throws her hands into my mouth to dig it out, & i usually bite her-real hard! what a fun struggle!!)

we vacuumed again today, which i don't particularly care for, but mommy insisted since she hunted out a decomposing mouse, after flo hunted a live one out! i still don't care for that vacuum cleaner..i love to play w/ it when it is off, but when it is on...AHHHHHH!!!!!

my specialty de jour (other than God's brown earth) was bananas & graham crackers again. i must have eaten two & a half HUGE bananas..is that even healthy? i'm obsessed i tell ya!!..yet somehow i keep poopin..think it's the graham crackers that keep me regular!!..mommy pushes grapes & blueberries on me too, but after my morning oatmeal, (which i love to do a really cool little boogie while it's cookin!) i really only want bananas & crackers! grapes & pb & j, yogurt occasionally, last week was sloppy joes for lunch every day!! ..oh yea, & CHEESE STICKS....another obsession! i'm not really consuming the whole thing tho, just like to gnaw on it & gum it up!!..ooh yummy!!...

the song you're listening to is my new very favorite sound!! i make mommy sing it a ZILLION times a day!!! she can' t seem to come up with another song that i enjoy more!!! (so any suggestions are welcome!!) i put my teeny (okay huge for my age) fingers together to make the spider and she'll sing the WHOLE song! (if she doesn't, i must cue her again ;) as soon as it ends, i giggle & put my fingers together again!!..mommy says "again?! reaally?!? okaaaayyy.~!~!!"
YAY!!!! my daddy will be picking me up before the sun goes down tonight!! i'm sooooo excited to see him!! i've been saving up my big hugs for him!!

this is where mommy is going if i don't start sleeping at night!!!

today mommy & i took a wee road trip to see our friend rana & visit uncle luke! we had a blast!! i got to run around rana's house & show her how to push all the buttons on her entertainment center, OOH & she has STAIRS!!! i displayed my fantastic ability to climb up , then down, then up, then down!! then up!!! .... then i swiped a fuji apple off her nightstand & started munchin on it, it was real nice thank you!! we then ordered a pizza & went to the park where they let me play amoungst several geese & other children...i of course was the cutest little person around! anyways, mommy says it was a therapeutic day to get to see her friend & brother too. she has many other of those "therapy" days planned for us...going to the lake (OMG IN A COUPLE WEEKS!! already??) & a couple trips the ocean too are in store! as well as my great grandma & grandpa coming to visit in september!!
back to today: we then headed to uncle luke's where we interrupted him moving his canopy for his vehicles ( ...that pour man has had more trouble w/ his neighbors and trying to keep his trucks under cover...) it was super cool!!!! i played on the four wheeler & spent lots of time putzing around in the garage!! so many auto related gadgets & gear...i could hardly keep my pee in!! (ps, daddy, i peed w/ glee when i got to luke's cuz i was sooo excited!! for the rest of you, mommy was concerned since i hadn't piddled since we left this morning & she was worried about dehydration! but when i get really excited, i tinkle! just like a cute little puppy!!!...LOL) to continue the story, i ran amuck around uncle luke's, made food messes, (and paper towels, and handprints, and.....) then got back in the car & headed home. i was a bit harder to keep happy on the way home (about two plus hours) & when we got home, mommy noticed the garage door opener was under my REAR!!! the whole ride it must have been...sigh...if only i knew the sign for "garage door opener is creating an extra dimple in my hiney mom, could you please remove it?" i would have been quite content, maybe napped?..LOL...
Daddy we miss you lots, hope you are having therapy days too ;)
i have to send mommy to bed now, she's typing in her sleep i think!!!...love you all

Tunes at the Zoo

Mommy and daddy took me to the zoo the other night for a concert. It was a couple of Hawaiian guys, and they were really good, at least from what my two second attention span let me hear. I was quite busy with smiling and waving at many, many complete strangers. We got there a little early so we went through a little bit of the zoo. We saw a bear take a bath, really big fishes, some goats, a family of elephants, and of course the tractor. Isn't my mommy pretty? My daddy says that we really lucked out with her. He still can't figure out what he did to get her to like him. Frankly neither can I, she is way out of his league. Anyway, the zoo concerts are really fun. If anyone is ever in town, I would love to take you to a show. I have a zoo pass and we can get you in for free. I'm a pretty big deal down here. That's all for now, have a great weekend!

Happy belated 4rth of july to you!! my grandma & aunt barb came to visit me all the way from the other side of the state last weekend! i am sooo special ;) We had a ton of fun! especially when we got to go watch the firework show! i was able to visit with so many people this weekend i'm just pooped now!! we hosted a little barbeque in my back yard & i showed off all my cool toys to my loved ones! i strutted my stuff all weekend giving them tastes of my expertise in signing "bird" & "plane"! thank you to grandma chris for visiting me!! next time we'll be seeing you at the lake!!!

i've been mastering my tantrums. ("WOW" from mom) she loves them ;) she thought she'd attempt to raise a tantrumless kiddo.. HAH!!!

i'm also very close to turning the door handles enough to open doors! i twist them back & forth real fast but the turn isn't enough to unlatch...hmm...i'll figure it out real quick! i do the same with lids to bottles. i twist them real fast back & forth, but not a long enough twist to secure the lids! what other deeds am i working on? funny you ask! now instead of helping unload the dishwasher, i choose to push the racks in so i can climb ontop the open door & turn the microwave on! FUN!!! i still love to push all the buttons on the entertainment center! (daddy loves that part!) ps, daddy's last week at his old job this week! he's soooo excited!!) what else? i've decided i don't like to tinkle in my potty chair anymore..don't care to sit on it, i just want to disassemble or climb ontop it!!

have another big weekend in a couple days! mommy & i are going to visit our friend rana & then on sunday we're going to grandpa's! should be a hoot!!

well i should scamper. (mommy apologizes for being kinda scatterbrained! she doesn't recharge her self when i do!! even though grandma is always telling her too ;) when i wake up i'll have some lunch in my backyard, (i will try to fill up on lunch so i am not hungry for dirt afterwords!!) splash in my pool, & stomp my little monster feet all around!! have a wonderful day, talk to you soon :) love you!

Depth Perception

Today I had a couple of lessons in physics. Apparently when there is a step, you step down. Do not put your foot out and hope for the best. I did the later and did this crazy semi-controlled head over heels tumble. Somehow the only damage done was a scrape on my shoulder. My shoulder? Daddy told me to rub some dirt on it and get back in the game. So I decided I would take my green, yellow, and red lawn mower right through his sweeping pile. He told me to rub some dirt on it, so I did. Mommy took me inside and we were reading some literature about what certain animals sound like, and I heard Daddy come inside. I snuck up on him, and then ran back to Mommy. Well her knee got in the way of my face, and needless to say, things did not end well. But since my head is made of granite, I shook it off pretty quick. That's not to say one side of my face looked like I took a jab from Mike Tyson. Anyway, that was my day.
