here is a shot of me trying to turn on the tv by turning up the volume on the receiver! i like to turn it way up!! but sometimes (not very often, i turn it down!) i figured out how to clap yesterday! it is pretty cool, so now whenever i get excited, i delightfully toss my hands together, then mommy & daddy clap too! i also had my 9 month check up yesterday, doc says i'm doing pretty good. i'm down to the 90th percentile now in weight & height! (guess the rest of my peers are catching up now!!) i measured 29 3/4inches high, & 24lbs7oz. been spending a lot of time outside as it has been beautiful!! we even went to the park & swang with grandma mary :) we even had lunch outside at her house yesterday! better go for now. loving you :)

hello families! so tonight i was giving out kisses !!

opening my mouth and leaning into my mommy for a nice slobbery smooch!!...she thought it was pretty adorable; just made me giggle tho! it has been such a blessing to have some sunny & semi warm days. i've been able to spend a few precious moments outside! today grandma mary took me around the yard & was snapping sticks for me (mommy & daddy told me they were peeking thru the window!) and i was laughing soooo hard, my whole body was bouncing!!! my grandma sure is good to me! (there is now a pile of kindling in our back yard!) OOH!!! guess what else!! i've peed three times now in my new potty chair!!! (it plays a "rewarding tune" when you pee!...(LOL!-quite a hoot really!) guess that is it for now, i'm sleeping all night long tonight so i will be really good in church tomorrow morning!

saw a bit of a video of another baby laughing so hard at ripping paper, so thought we'd test it out!! he's such a hoot!!

i love my daddy so much & i'm really glad the angels watch over him when i'm not there to take care of him. today he was inches away from a very, very bad car accident. a 4runner flipped & spun flying towards daddy's car & stopped upsidedown just outside my daddy's driverside door, he got out to help the lady & talked to the uniformed folk until they released him. he's shook up, but okay! i don't know what i would do without my super duper daddy!

on the upside of life, happy 9month birthday to me!! my friend seth came to my house to visit today, he is two whole months old and half my size, but we'll be good friends soon! he snuggled with the big people most of the visit, it was fun!

i've been working on my walking & am doing great! i can go all the way across the room sometimes! i also got to the toilet paper again today...tastes the same as it did last time ;) i was quite chatty this afternoon too, always discovering more & more noises & pitches to play with! i am also very good at my release of objects & placing one item into another repeatedly, mommy & daddy think i'm a pretty smart cookie! i spend a lot of time with my books, mom thinks we read some of them 50 times a day! my awesome hair is getting real long, but mommy doesn't want to cut it...it can get pretty wild & entertaining for them! that's it for today~

OH!!! guess what!? i woke up only TWICE last night...mom woke up at 745 & freaked out a little bit because i hadn't been up since three...but i was still snoring curled up in my crib! i had only a half hour nap today to make up for all that sleep last night, but i had sweet potato & banana & apple juice for dinner (first time with juice-it was pretty good!), then a fun bath & now i'm laying down for a long night's sleep again! hope you all are doing well, sleep tight my friends :)

happy valentine's day to you all! i currently am chewing on some of my favorite blocks from my great aunt stefanie (thank you again!) they are helping me break through a couple more teeth in my mouth! another beautiful day today, can't wait to go outside & play..for now i will continue to terrorize the kitties leave a "trail of destruction" (as daddy says) behind me!

hello friends. i gazed at my first rainbow today...it is so nice to see blue sky again and now there are even more beautiful colors to see!! i've been practicing my waving (ambidextrious even!) and my walking. i can go about five maybe five & a half feet, before i tumble to the floor! also, i have another tooth that surfaced today, on my bottom left( the third one to the left). we've been learning discipline too, i understand what "no" means but i sometimes pretend i don't hear it ;) my daddy just got home so i am going to go now! he's so cool, i love him so much! i always smile real big and give him loves when i see him! have a good night! happy valentines-ps, mom says sorry she didn't get valentines' pictures out..she really wanted to :( maybe next year right?!? okay..ta ta

Greetings friends & family...a quick little update for you all! my grandpa & grandma barge came to visit for the weekend & we had a blast!! i miss them so, but we'll be together again for easter :) it was a great weekend! we visited with the strattons-had a big yummy dinner as always! and i really entertained them all with my "roars"!! ( i have a cute little polar bear at home that "roars" and i love to mimic it!! so all weekend i was going around "roar"ing!) i'm learning all sorts of fun noises i can make with my mouth!! we went out to lunch and went to a cool toy store too! the weather was amazing! first sunny/dry day we've had in quite a while! so it was a much needed treat to run around outside a bit! they also took me shoe shopping to this really fun little shop but the nice lady there said my feet were too big for the appropriate shoes for me right now...(gee, what a surprise!) but that's okay, i some i can wear until the shoe market catches up w/ my feet! thank you to grandma & grandpa for making the trip to come visit me-i always love to see you and visit!

in general we're very excited about the springtime weather! it has been cold and rainy for long enough..i have sooo much to explore outside but my parents won't let me just yet. so i spend lots of time just gazing outside! i better go, i'm waking up from my 15 minute snooze and cruzing to find my mommy..have a wonderful day :)

this is a peek into my library of laughs!..i'm eating lunch w/ mommy & she's playing my favorite game of peek-a-boo to get me to giggle! my new favorite now is wrinkling my little nose as high as i can get it to go & pushing air in & out of my nose real fast w/ squinty eyes!!..quite a hoot! i haven't let them catch it on video yet though!

i've been keeping busy, chasing my kitties & helping unload the dishwasher (i discovered the coolest device yesterday in there, four little metal spoons-all different sizes to boot!-i can shake them and spin them and hold them in many different angles...it was amazing!!!) i also like to help with laundry (i hide treasures for my mommy & daddy to find in the dirty clothes!) i especially enjoy chasing the broom around..i am faster now so i can help sweep instead of just supervising!!

also i wanted to mention that i melted my mommy's heart at my little buddy class( the mommies & babies class) last week! i gave another little friend (his name is landon and i really like him!) a hug, then i went back for more and we hugged again..all the mommies in class thought that was pretty special!..then, a bit later i hugged another little friend!! when we went again i was more shy than normal, but i struted my stuff across the floor and made my audience gasp...yea, i'm the man ;)

i'm working on mastering this walking business! it is a bit challenging!! but i love it! mostly b/w three to five steps at a time and i try to run instead of walk...guess i'll have to work on that! better go for now..rest up for my next big adventure! ps, mommy & daddy say hi! Hello everyone-

First of all, my mommy would want me to tell you that it snowed really big flakes today. They looked like pancakes falling from the sky, which made my daddy pretty hungry. The big news today though was that I went to Ikea with mommy, daddy, and grandma. It was really big, and daddy thought "the floorplan was irritating, irrational, and hard to navigate." In other words he got lost. He apparently doesn't care for Swedish people or their affordably priced merchandise. Then we went to lunch where I must say I was a very good boy, and I got a balloon. When we got home mommy and I took a really hard nap while daddy watched his Cougs blow it again. I'm making a promise to all of you that I will practice real hard on my free throw shooting because I don't want daddy to yell at me like he did at the basketball guys on T.V. Then I decided that I was tired of taking baths and that it was time to start taking showers. Mommy and daddy don't agree, but I usually seem to get what I want, just look at me.
